Description
This course will introduce the student to the various aspects of the 3D Animation production pipeline, where
students will learn to model, texture, light, animate and render in Autodesk Maya. The process of creating
computer graphics and animation requires both artistic and technical abilities. The creation of 3D involves
students in a design (problem solving) process, an artistic process, and a technical process. It develops their
technical knowledge and computer skills while using the tools of the craft.
Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Diploma in 3D Animation for Game, Film and Visual Effects, and the Diploma in 3D Technologies for Film & Games.
