Coach Adriano Catena joined Langara as its Women's Basketball head coach in April 2025. Catena joins the Falcons after serving as an assistant coach at the University of British Columbia for 4 years. During the 2023-24 season, Catena helped the Thunderbirds to a 3rd place finish in Canada West with an overall record of 22 wins and 9 losses. Catena has over 12 years of experience coaching high school, university and professional and aged athletes. Coach Catena graduated with a Bachelor of Communications from Universidad Catolica Argentina in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
