Langara Foundation Summer Camps at Langara
Building bright futures–one happy camper at a time.
Langara is launching something new: a summer camp experience for kids and youth that reflects the heart of who we are: creative, inclusive, and community-driven.
These new camps will bring young learners from low-income families from across British Columbia onto Langara's campus to explore science, technology, arts, sports, and more – all guided by Langara students and faculty. For many children, it will be their very first time on a college campus — a powerful spark of what learning can look like beyond the K–12 classroom.
But we want to make sure cost isn’t a barrier.
Your support will help us:
- Launch the Langara Summer Camps program with high-quality, inclusive offerings
- Fund bursaries for kids who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend
- Employ Langara students as camp leaders and mentors
- Build a welcoming, inspiring environment for local families to discover Langara
- Support students who otherwise could not attend camp
This is more than childcare. It’s community-building. It’s early outreach. It’s showing the next generation that Langara is a place where they belong — long before they’re ready to apply.
