Langara Foundation Academic Success Centre
Turning learners into leaders.
At Langara, we know that student success takes more than good intentions — it takes support. That’s why we created the Academic Success Centre: a central hub where students build the skills, confidence, and connections they need to thrive.
Opened in 2022, the Centre brings together four key programs:
- Student Success and Return to Learning Courses – teaching study skills, time management, and academic resilience.
- Writing & Tutoring Centre – offering free subject support alongside Library and IT services.
- Peer-Supported Learning – senior students lead informal study groups, boosting both learning and leadership.

- Peer Tutoring Fund – grow paid tutoring and leadership roles for senior students.
- Technology Fund – double the laptop lending program and enhance digital learning support.

- Indigenous Learning Strategist – support Indigenous student success through culturally grounded guidance.
